How Much Does Business Coaching Cost?

A Business Coach can be a lifeline to business owners and leaders, providing much-needed advice, resources, and more. But how much does it cost to have a Business Coach? The short answer? It depends on many factors: the Coach's experience, the number of team members coached, and the services provided to the team. We'll walk you through all of these factors so you can make an informed decision about whether or not coaching is for you.

YOUR COACH'S EXPERIENCE

The truth is, anyone can call themselves a Business Coach and start their own coaching practice. And likely they became a coach because they had experience, knowledge, and the desire to help business owners and leaders with their business challenges. Most coaches are fantastic at what they do, and one look at their client list will tell you their level of qualification. Does the coach provide a list of their current clients? If they don't, we recommend that you ask.

At Summit ActionCOACH, each Certified Business Coach must undergo a rigorous vetting process and 180 hours of mandatory training. Coach Jen has coaches herself that are some of the most experienced in the industry, with almost 20 years in the coaching industry. Why does Coach Jen invest in being part of a coaching team? You get to benefit from the resources, experience, and history of all of our coaches.

SCOPE OF COACHING SERVICES

The scope of services is the most significant factor in determining the price of coaching, especially for our team. Our coaching engagements are typically one-on-one, or one coach to an ownership team for smaller businesses (like a family business). These coaching sessions are virtual or in person within the Cincinnati metropolitan region. One-on-one coaching provides the fastest path to business growth and increased profits. We have options for either twice-per-month coaching or once-per-week coaching with one of our Certified Business Coaches. Typically, coaching fees run anywhere from $1,500 per month to $3,000 per month per executive. We also recommend an Alignment for each new client, where we get together with the owner(s), key members of leadership, and even family members. You determine the company and your long-term vision and we work through any challenges with that vision. The alignment cost is typically $1,200 for the owner’s alignment, or a full day including owner and team alignment for $2,500, as a one time investment.

Our Group Coaching programs are geared for smaller organizations and small groups of business owners together with a coach in order to share in the coaching fees. Group Coaching engagements are between $500 and $1,000 per month. These are educational and do not include lots of coaching during the sessions.

Other services, such as leadership training, are billed per attendee. These fees are typically $250 per attendee per session, depending on the number of attendees and level of customization of the program.
